·         From Bhopal to Satpura National Park, the distance is approximately 104 km and you can hire a cab to make the commute.

·         As an alternative, you can again take a train from Bhopal to Pipariya and from Pipariya the distance to be covered is 57 km.

Satpura National Park was declared a biosphere reserve in the year 1999 and it was the first one in Madhya Pradesh. The forest lands are covered by dense teak and sal forests. Satpura also serves as a significant area for tiger protection and also provides shelter to around 14 endangered species such as the Indian skimmer, giant squirrel, leaf-nosed bat, black-bellied tern and a few more. Apart from fauna, more than 300 species of avifauna make Satpura National Park a perfect destination for birdwatching.
